The Best Mens Hair Products in My Opinion

I get this question all the time so here it is: Calee's recommendations for getting your hair to do what you want it to do.

1.  Redken Work Hard Molding Paste- I started using this product while in hair school and immediately fell in love. It dries clear and if applied properly will be unseen. It can be felt in the hair, but is not “crispy.” I would describe it as a medium hold. It will keep your hair in place but you can still run your hands through your hair. I like to apply it to towel dried hair and because I am a hair stylist, I then blow dry the hair and the heat will set the product. DISCLAIMER* (Blow drying your hair is not mandatory but can be used for best results) Since I started using this product it has almost doubled in price due to that dang supply and demand thing. If you google Work Hard, you can find various sites to buy it on or you can come see me directly.
2.   American Crew 3-in-1 Tea Tree Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash- This has become a staple in my salon because almost all of my male clients have extremely dry scalps due to the tundra-like weather here in Utah. The tea tree oil helps to exfoliate your scalp and promotes hair growth by distinguishing build up around the hair follicles. My clients love it because it has a “minty” feel that feels like icy hot on your head. This leaves your head feeling fresh, clean, and smelling fantastic. This product can also be found online or you can come to me if you are ready to restock your shower.

Obviously, there are a lot of different products that are best for different hair types, but as a general consensus these two products are my “go-to's.” For specific recommendations, I would need to evaluate your hair and consult you on your specific hair goals. I just wanted to give all you guys out there a heads up as to what products I love!

Surprise Engagement!!!

A couple weeks ago I was asked to do one of the funnest hair jobs, I was asked to do the hair and make up for an unsuspecting girl who was about to get engaged. Kenna was under the impression that  she was modeling for one of Rachael Affleck's wedding photoshoots.  All the while her fiancĂ© was up in the mountains setting up a romantic proposal.  Her are some pictures from this exciting day!
